Head Coach: Mike Smith

Bio: I am a native Southern Californian growing up here in the Mission Viejo area, playing football,  running track & cross-country, and playing basketball. I attended both MVHS and ETHS, then moved on as a scholarship athlete to play football for the Griz at The University of Montana. I have been privileged to coach youth football for 13 years and am currently a Head Coach at Santa Margarita Pop Warner. Our 8U Silver Cowboys team won the Div 2 Wescon Championship in 2023, finishing our season with an 11-1 record. 

I also have coached youth basketball for ten years and age group track for 4. My amazing wife Donna and I have four incredible children: Payson(19), Piper(15), Milan(14) and Mikey(8). I have been fortunate to work in healthcare as a professional for 15+ years.
